Unable to open UFO files

Whenever I try to open UFO files I get the an error message like this one:

Are you sure you want to install the plugin:
Lorimer Test Black Condensed Italic Uprights.ufo?

The plugin will be place in /Users/jpad/Library/Application Support/Glyphs/Plugins.

I have tried updating and even reinstalling glyphs with no luck. How do I fix this?

This seems to be a mixup in the launchagent database. Use some system utility (Maintenance or Cocktail) or the following terminal command:

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchService s.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister \ -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user

and maybe a reboot.
