Not able to close windows & panels/grayed-out menus after opening Macro Panel

I'm just checking out things and I find this a bit odd. After opening the Macro Panel I can't seem to close any other panel. I can't close the file, nor quit the program.
Menus are grayed out too.

I'll check logs (need to post them here?)
